Hi, I'm Bethel

I’m a digital designer and design systems leader focused on crafting expressive, accessible web and product experiences in a variety of styles, but always with accessibility in mind.

At GE, I designed and governed GridOS, an enterprise design system for a highly complex, safety-critical platform, bringing structure, clarity, and scalability to products where precision matters.

My work over the years has bridged  UX, visual design, and engineering to ensure ideas translate cleanly from concept to implementation. I design with systems in mind, leveraging modern Figma tooling including semantic tokens, variables, and theming to build adaptable, component-based foundations that scale.

Accessibility is built into the system itself, enabling teams to move fast without compromising inclusion. Alongside this, I explore AI-assisted design and front-end experimentation, using vibe coding, rapid prototyping, and emerging tools to test storytelling approaches, interaction patterns, and motion early in the process.

I thrive on collaboration and iteration. I love working closely with creatives, engineers, and stakeholders to push ideas forward and deliver digital experiences that feel both intentional and inspiring.

Tools

Figma logo

I have used Figma for 8 years - always leveraging the latest features, especially for prototyping and design systems

Miro logo

I use Miro or Lucidchartfor planning, brainstorming, customer journey mapping and more

Azure DevOps logo

Azure DevOps is my favorite tool for planning and tracking work, but also use Jira, Aha

This site was built with Webflow, with images prepared using Adobe Creative Suite

I use AI tools to accelerate exploration, automate repetitive tasks, and prototype ideas more quickly so I can stay focused on higher-level design decisions
